Dawnitta Adair

Dawnitta resides in Rainbow City, AL. with her very talented husband, Stephen Adair, who is currently tenor singer with The Mark Trammell Quartet. Dawnitta used to travel with her parents, Steve & Kathy Simmons, as the southern gospel group, The Simmons Family, retiring in November 2025. Her first appearance with them was at the young age of 11. The Simmons Family had the honor of appearing on stages and platforms across the United States including National Quartet Convention in Pigeon Forge, TN. and Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO. 

Dawnitta was born 1979 in Greencastle, IN. She made her presence known by letting everyone in the room know she had a strong set of lungs. From that moment on, God placed a calling and talent on her life and opened doors of opportunity she never thought possible.  Her first vocal performance at her birth, was just a warm up to the dynamic ministry she has today and will continue to pursue.
